Lost & Found

We have an alphabet magnet set.  Sadly about a year ago we lost our letter "J".  Today, there was much rejoicing as Big Sister found it.  Where?  Under her booster seat.  Now if only we could find the missing match to this sock of Little Sister's

A Whole New World

I'm currently reading "A Mom After God's Own Heart" (if you're a mom - read it!). It has inspired some really great changes in our home.  Hubby and I were finding that our mornings were too chaotic and stressful so we decided to get an earlier start - 5:45 earlier to be exact.  Hubby and I started our day with a simple prayer - Lord we give this day to you.  Workout and showers before waking the girls.  Then we have a family breakfast at the table with devotions.  When hubby leaves for work we have a prayer circle and group hug.

I chopped down the TV time and added in "Chris Tomlin Radio" on Pandora.  I found time to call my Gram, pay bills, make a Dr. appointment.  We ate all meals at the dining room table.   Our renewed focus is on Christ and Family.  I pray these changes take root!

Turn That Bad Day Around

May your day never be so bad that it cannot be improved by a happy lunch and a dust bunny stink bug.

A Time for Everything

A time to clean and a time to get messy.
A time to teach and a time to learn.
A time to comfort and a time to empower.
A time to hold on and a time to let go.
A time to police and a time to be partner in crime.
A time to forgive others and a time to forgive yourself.
A time to go out and a time to stay in.
A time to play and a time to rest.
